Lunch will be starting on September 9,
2002, as well as the Milk Program.
Information will be sent home on the First
Day of School regarding the Milk Program,
and the September Calendar - having the
Hot Lunch information will also be sent
home and posted on this Internet site.
Hot
lunch days will be Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday and is sponsored by parent
volunteers. The Hot Lunches at MCS
are nutritious and school made. The
price for hot lunch is $1.50. Some
of the main items served are pizza,
grilled cheese, spaghetti, hot dogs,
hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fish, and
chicken fillet. Vegetables include
corn, green beans and baked beans.
Desserts include pudding, jello, fruit
cocktail, Little Debbies and fresh fruit.
There will not be a drink served with hot
lunch. If your child wants a drink
they must bring a drink or purchase milk
for the whole year.
